OVERVIEW LandRoamer, a new concept in curated camping in New Zealand. The company specialises in hiring out high-quality adventure and camping equipment, enabling intrepid travellers to get off the grid without the admin.
As the cofounder I have been involved from day-one, I am responsible for the brand definition and the visual language across all touchpoints from digital, print, social to spatial design.
Bespoke Website
Drawing from work done on the branding strategy, I designed a distinctive website that aims to awaken a desire for intrepid adventure in the visitor. The website structure has been set up to focus on the three main pillars; information on rental and experience packages, an online store to purchase a select range of curated products and the seamless integration with a third-party booking system.
The website is a WordPress/Shopify hybrid, allowing for maximum flexibility and customisability of individual content pages, as well as allowing the rapid development of marketing landing pages utilising the Elementor Page Builder plugin for WordPress. In addition, it lets us take advantage of the eCommerce functionality Shopify offers right out of the box.
Social Advertising
I created a suite of social media campaigns, including the creation of all campaign assets for all ad formats and executions, as well as highly customized marketing landing pages. All tailored to target potential guests on Facebook and Instagram to achieve the highest number of qualified leads at the lowest cost.
Art Direction Photography
I am responsible for the art direction of all LandRoamer image assets, shot across multiple themed photo shoots. Including creation of the mood board and shoot staging, as well as closely collaborating with the photographer on site during the shoots to bring the creative vision to life.
In close collaboration with the videographer, I was responsible for the art direction, staging and story boards for two promotional films to be used on the website and the social channels to awaken a desire for intrepid adventure in the audience.
LandRoamer participated at a travel trade show at ASB show grounds in Auckland and tasked me with designing the trade show stand, the visual merchandising as well as the staging. Installing a full camping set up on site, allowing the visitor to get a glimpse of the LandRoamer experience.
